Hi! I’m Brent
Can I help you figure out your family’s finances?
Whether with your parents, partner, or adult children, financial conversations are HARD, and emotional, and important.
Especially when you’re sandwiched.
Dr. Sharon Johnson, sandwich.financial member
“Are you in the sandwich generation? You’re emotionally and/or financially supporting aging parents and growing children. This is also called the ‘I’m worried Mom will need to move in with me’ generation .”
Our plan was the “they’re probably fine plan.” They weren’t.
Please have a better plan.
Talking to family about money is terrifying. My wife and I put it off…for so many reasons. And now my job is to help you not make the same mistakes we did.
I offer financial coaching, not investment advice.
I want you to feel confidant managing your money. I want you to feel confidant in your loved one’s ability to manage theirs too.
Sandwich.Financial is my coaching program, guaranteed to help you build that confidence.
Membership has its benefits
Whether financially or just emotionally, if you’ve joined the sandwich generation, you might as well become a card carrying member.
How Can We Work Together?
We work together, live on Zoom (or in Northern California if you want to come visit), 40 minutes at a time. Your first coaching session is free, and that session may be all you need!
Start the process by filling out the form below.
If you need help beyond that, we’ll design a program together to help you gain the clarity and confidence you seek.
At that point, you’re not just a client, but a member! You don’t have to go through this alone. Membership has its benefits, with a full resource library of scripts, templates, legal forms, virtual trainings, and various member events throughout the year. As long as your bring your card of course.
Have questions? Send em to hello@sandwich.financial
My goal is to help you move from anxiety & overwhelm to clarity & confidence.
At least when it comes to the financial stuff.
What 10/10 confidence feels like, for you and your loved ones.
✔️ We know what we HAVE, where it is, and are confidant it’s working hard for us.
Average number of accounts for our members? SEVEN. Savings account with a teaser interest rate here, old 401k there. Lets get it organized together.
✔️ We know what we EARN, and feel confidant in our plan to make even more.
You really deserve a raise at work…and really want to start that side hustle this year…or maybe just want to quit all together and write your book. Sounds familiar. This is how the coaching practice started. We can help.
✔️ We feel PROTECTED even if the worst happens, giving us peace of mind.
We’ve got members who’ve dealt with emergencies of all kinds, from health events to natural disasters to their kid getting into Stanford. Protection through planning (and good insurance) will help you sleep better at night.
✔️ We know what we OWE, what we’re paying, and when we’ll pay it off.
Most of our members have airline credit cards, a car loan or two, and have almost paid off that pesky student loan. Oh and that good ole mortgage of course.
✔️ We know what we SPEND, and feel guilt-free to splurge on what brings us joy.
Our members tell us, oh wait, we already know. Life is expensive, and budgeting doesn’t really work. Lets Marie Kondo it together, and make sure your purchase lead to joy, excitement, and energy.
✔️ We feel EXCITEMENT about the future, our goals, and what’s next for our family.
So, what do you want? Do you know? When was the last time someone asked you? You’ve spent enough time focusing on what others want after all! We’ve got you. We’ll help you make that big exciting future happen.
No judgements, no sales pitches.
My team and I will praise where you are, cheer for where you’re going, and won’t judge you for where you’ve been (hey, we’ve been there too).
We have no financial products to sell or stock tips to give. We don’t want to manage your money, we want to help you gain confidence managing it yourself. We’re coaches and facilitators, not advisors.
And for sandwich-ers like us, a big part of that confidence is knowing if you need a plan for your parents moving in or not.
